Fort Edmonton was a Blast!

Our week started off excellent with our full day field trip to Fort Edmonton Park! Thank you to those parents who were able to volunteer, I hope you enjoyed the day! We were so lucky to have amazing weather and the kiddos loved it! They were so well behaved and got a real look on what things were like in the past!

Here are some photos we snapped!

Examining Beaver Pelts in the Fort!
Cookie, the Mother Goat!

Learning games from the past!
Jump over the River!

A child's room in 1885!
"Where's the TV?"

Tying up some crazy horses!
Penny Arcade Shooting Range

A classroom in 1905!

Fire Engines in 1905!
Riding the town trolley!

We had our measurement test this week! We're going to move onto addition and subtraction facts next week!

In Science were discussing the changes in season from Winter to Spring to Summer! Can you believe its already summer? We're working on using our senses to describe the seasons, what types of animals we see (lots of young animals are born in spring!) and what clothes and activities we wear in each season.
