Well, the year has come to an end and I can happily look back at all that we accomplished this year in Grade 1.
These little kiddos have grown so much since September and are going to be amazing Grade 2's next year! I am so proud of each student and will miss them so much. I will not be at East next year, but I plan to check in every now and then and hear all about how they are doing!!
And I can't forget to mention one of our biggest projects, Our fundraising for the Stollery Children's Hospital! These little guys and girls worked hard to put the word out about each of our events, put in volunteer time and a lot of heart. We raised a total of $900.40 towards the Stollery in Just over 2 months!! Way to Go Grade 1!!!!!!!
Our last few days were fun filled and busy! We got together as a group and made some Art about all the things we learned in Grade one! They did fantastic, as usual!!
And of course, we had to finish the year off with a film! We watched Rio 2!
Thank you parents, for everything you have helped out with this year! East Elementary has been a very warm and welcoming family to have been a part of!
